Mike and Mark Snowdon Challenge
Mark and Mike have known each other since meeting in school back in 1991.
Like many others, they have both been affected by the loss of a close friend or family member to cancer, and with both being parents to small children, just the thought of a child battling the horrible disease is unimaginable.
"And so we decided to climb up Snowdon, a handsome challenge to us both as we are both no longer the same figure as we were back in 1991! Standing at 3,560 ft, Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, so why not climb the highest point in the British Isles?
All funds raised are in aid of The Joshua Tree - supporting the families affected by childhood cancers. Please donate what you can afford, any donation will make a great difference to the charity. All donations via our JustGiving page."
When we reach the summit of Snowdon for our charity climb on March 25th for The Joshua Tree we will be burying a memory box. If you would like to send us a message on messenger with the names of the loved ones you’d like to make a private tribute to with a message from you we will write this out on special card and place in the box that will be forever at the summit of Snowdon. It will be buried in a special spot and will not be found again.
The souls are peaceful in the mountains.
