Join The Joshua Tree at the start line\, and together\, we’ll make a difference for families affected by childhood cancers. \n \nThe Joshua Tree aims to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of families navigating the challenges of a childhood cancer diagnosis\, treatment\, recovery\, and bereavement\, ensuring that no family faces their journey alone. \nBy running with us\, you’ll help fund essential services: \n\nCounselling for all family members\nArt and play therapy\nAdult wellbeing therapy sessions\nPeer support groups\nFamily fun events\nEducational guidance\n\n… and much more. \nOur charity is unique in providing bespoke support dependent on a family’s needs with no cut off point. \nYour impact: \nFamilies like Oliver’s who was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in March 2024 rely on support from The Joshua Tree. His Dad says\, “The Joshua Tree has been fundamental in trying to get some normality back in life. \nThey just get it. The support centre is such a safe environment for the children that some of your worries actually melt away while you are there. DESCRIPTION:Looking for a simple and creative way to support The Joshua Tree? \nWe’re inviting our wonderful community to take part in an Easter knit\, a heart-warming initiative to help raise funds for families affected by childhood cancers. \nWhat’s the idea?\nWe’re asking supporters to knit small Easter chicks designed to fit a Cadbury Creme Egg snuggly inside\, making them perfect for selling in local cafés. \n  \nNeed a pattern? We’ve included a simple knitting pattern to help you get started. DOWNLOAD HERE \nYour handmade creations will be collected at the start of March and distributed to selected local cafés\, where they will be sold to help raise essential funds for families supported by The Joshua Tree. \nWhy it matters\nWhen a child is diagnosed with cancer\, life becomes overwhelming for the entire family.
