Christmas is different for families affected by childhood cancers

Donate a gift that lasts beyond Christmas

Some gifts can be seen, others can be felt.
Your Christmas donation helps children, young adults, and parents access essential support during and after a childhood cancer diagnosis.

Monthly donations help us do more. Give a monthly gift.

We don’t say “Merry Christmas” here at The Joshua Tree…

We understand that for families affected by childhood cancers, Christmas can be an unsettling and emotional time. For many, children are isolated from festive activities while undergoing treatment. Some families are still rebuilding and repairing after the challenges of cancer, for others, it’s a time of loss, and for some, every precious moment of Christmas is treasured because they may not get another.

Meet Alice's Dad, Paul

Alice has a terminal diagnosis, which makes every Christmas incredibly precious, they never know how many more they will have.

The Joshua Tree is here to support Alice and her family at every stage of their journey, providing emotional, practical, and wellbeing support so they can make the most of every moment together.

Big Give Week

2nd - 9th December

This year, The Joshua Tree is taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, a one-week campaign where every donation made through our Big Give page can be doubled at no extra cost to you.

That means:

  • £20 becomes £40
  • £50 becomes £100
  • £100 becomes £200

All matched funding comes from generous pledgers and Big Give champions, so your donation goes twice as far in supporting families affected by childhood cancers.

Donations have to be made directly to our campaign page here – https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS0000062DVZYA2
