We wanted to take a moment to recognise and thank the incredible team at 438 Marketing, who have played a key role in shaping how The Joshua Tree looks and feels today.
Back in Spring 2025, we partnered with 438 Marketing on a full brand refresh, a project that has quietly transformed the way we communicate our work and the support we provide to families affected by childhood cancers.
This collaboration brought together a new website, an evolved visual identity, and a powerful promotional video, all designed with one shared goal: to better reflect the heart of The Joshua Tree.
From the outset, the 438 team immersed themselves in understanding our charity, not just what we do, but how we make people feel.
Kyri Miller, Digital Marketing Manager at 438 Marketing, shared:
“Working with The Joshua Tree team on their new website has been a true highlight of my year. The space they’ve created to support families affected by childhood cancers is genuinely inspiring, and it was important to us that the website reflect that same sense of warmth, creativity, and care.”
“We focused on bringing in natural textures, calming colours, and a light-filled aesthetic to mirror the feeling of their centre. Our goal was to deliver something not only visually beautiful and modern, but also functional and scalable as the charity continues to grow.”
The result is a website that not only tells our story more clearly, but also supports our future, helping us reach more families and raise awareness of the vital services we provide.

Bringing Our Story to Life Through Film
As part of this partnership, 438 Marketing created a powerful promotional video for The Joshua Tree, capturing not just what we do, but what it feels like to be here.
Through thoughtful storytelling and a sensitive approach to filming, the video reflects the warmth, support, and sense of community experienced by the families we support, bringing to life the people and environment at the heart of our work.
It provides a meaningful way to share our story more widely, helping others better understand the impact of our support for families affected by childhood cancers. It’s something we are incredibly proud of, and a true reflection of the care and creativity 438 brought to this project.
As we look ahead, we’re really looking forward to sharing a very special film created through this partnership, a film marking the 20th anniversary of The Joshua Tree.
The video brings together our journey, celebrating two decades of supporting families affected by childhood cancers, and reflecting on the impact, growth, and community that have shaped who we are today.
We are incredibly grateful to 438 Marketing for their creativity, care, and dedication to this project. Their work has strengthened how we share our story, ensuring that more families can find us, connect with us, and feel supported when they need it most.
