Working together with Professionals

We work in close partnership with professionals across healthcare, education, and social care to ensure families receive the support they need at every stage of their cancer journey, whether at diagnosis, during treatment, through survivorship, relapse, or in times of loss.

Our team includes qualified education specialists and family support professionals, all of whom are trauma-informed and trained in safeguarding, ensuring our approach is both sensitive and safe.

We aim to be your first point of call when a family is navigating the challenges of childhood cancer. But when other services are limited or no longer available, we are here as a reliable, compassionate safety net, ready to provide bespoke, holistic care that wraps around the whole family.

Sometimes, our support doesn’t begin with the child who is unwell. Often, it starts by making siblings feel valued, giving parents a much-needed break from juggling work and home life, or helping grandparents process the journey and find practical ways to help. By easing these pressures, we lighten the burden of worry carried by the parent staying in hospital.

Reaching Families, Wherever They Are

We have two Support Centres, one near Northwich, Cheshire, and another in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. These provide safe, welcoming spaces for families to access support.

Our mobile support vehicle helps us reach families who can’t travel or are in hospital and need a moment of respite.

For those living further afield, we offer remote support via calls, texts, and virtual sessions.

Educational support

We work closely with schools and education professionals to provide tailored support for children affected by childhood cancers and their families. Whether you’re a hospital tutor transitioning care or an educational practitioner supporting a child in your school, we’re here to help.
