Go Gold This September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
This September, The Joshua Tree invites schools, businesses, and communities to Go Gold and help raise awareness and essential funds for families affected by childhood cancers.
Get Involved in a Way That Works for You
There are so many golden ways to take part, whether you’re in the classroom, the office, or within a community group:
Schools, Host a Go Gold Day!
Encourage pupils to dress in yellow for £1, walk a Golden Mile around the school field, or create your own glittering activities. Get the children involved to think of a creative way to support The Joshua Tree. It’s a fun and meaningful way for children to support a cause and raise awareness about the challenges some families face.
Take on the Gold Cup Competition
This month-long fundraising challenge is perfect for individuals or teams. Make a £5 donation to enter, then compete for a spot on the leader board throughout September. A great way to bring a little friendly competition to your workplace or social group like a football team, golf club or netball league, all while making a big difference.
Host a Golden Bake Sale
Turn your office or community space into a bakery of goodwill with a Go Gold bake sale. Whether it’s cupcakes, cookies, or golden traybakes, get the team involved for a day in September!
Businesses, Go Gold with Your Brand!
Show your support by turning your logo gold for the month of September. With a £100 donation, your business can visibly stand with The Joshua Tree and the families we support, while raising awareness across your networks.
It’s a simple yet powerful way to demonstrate your corporate social responsibility, showing customers, clients, and your team that you’re committed to making a meaningful difference.
