The Family Support Team were sharing the love during February half term with a variety of family support activities and events.
Hugs, kisses and Valentine wishes was the theme for the Valentine’s Day special with willow heart making, valentine card making with some added shine and sparkle thanks to corporate partner Foil Co. Creating beautiful bouquets for a loved one, or simply staying sweet with the love themed pic ‘n’ mix.
Family’s flocked for the love of Pizza where children made their own pizzas followed by the cupid arrow donut challenge. The ‘full house’ of families then enjoyed a game of pizza bingo.
We all then went 'Potty over Pottery' when families gathered at Blakemere Craft Centre to make memories by personalising and decorating a family platter to treasure and share. Thank you so much to Cheshire Craft Work Shop from Blakemere for kindly donating the glazes, equipment and firing the beautiful bowls.
The week came to a finale with a trip Around the World. The children enjoyed fun and games traveling on the constructed box steam train around the Support Centre visiting different countries from around the world. On arrival they took part in traditional dance and games from their destination country. Thank you to Caroline Le for the incredible inspiration and dance moves that kept us all on our feet.
It is fair to say there was something for everyone!
