The Joshua Tree teed off once again at the annual Charity Golf Open at the prestigious Mottram Hall Golf Club.

The event saw 15 teams comprising tee off over the fairway at the prestigious Mottram Hall Golf Club in June with the customary charity holes to be played (Beat the Pro and Nearest the Pin) and charity raffle.

Player consisting of supporters, and corporates, including Accident Credit Group, Residential Management Group, WR Partners, Duerrs, Atlanta, Dow Schofield Watts, BT O'Sullivan, Access Group Foundation, Corkills, Williams and Lowe and Dodson and Bell. The winning team Keys & Trees scooped the Cup for 2023 Golf Open!

 

An impressive £4,000 was raised from the day in support of The Joshua Tree and families affected by childhood cancers.

Amy Wilkinson, The Joshua Tree Events Coordinator said: “It was fantastic to see so many teams come along to the event including corporate partners who supported our first Charity Golf Open last year. It was a fabulous event and raised vital funds to continue work supporting families affected by childhood cancers."

Stuart Carlon, Director of Inbox said “Fabulous day, great course and great banter. Wonderfully organised, we will be back again next year!”

Piers McLeish, from the Access Groups Foundation commented "The organisation was terrific, the best organised charity golf day we have been on, and believe me we have been on a lot. We all had a great time and enjoyed every moment."
