The Joshua Tree Golf Day 2026
Sandiway Golf Club – Tuesday 17th June 2025
The sun was shining down on the fairways as teams gathered for The Joshua Tree’s annual Golf Day at Sandiway Golf Club.
The day teed off in perfect style with bacon butties served in the clubhouse, giving everyone a chance to catch up and fuel up. After a bit of practice on the range, teams headed out across the course for a shotgun start. From that moment on, the competition was well and truly underway!
Following 18 holes of fundraising, laughter, and some impressive golfing, teams returned to the clubhouse to enjoy a well-earned drink and the all-important awards presentation. Players tucked into a post-match buffet while the day’s winners were revealed.
For the second year running, Team Ashton Town claimed the top spot, huge congratulations on defending your title in style!
And a massive shout-out to Alfie Turner, our youngest golfer of the day, who came incredibly close to a hole in one, a star in the making!
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Niamh Waldron at Simple Life, the day started strong and ran smoothly from start to finish. Beer Trading kept the game fun with their Mulligan sponsorship, and Currys Northwich offered a fantastic Hole in One prize.
We’d also like to thank Birtwistle’s for the delicious pies, and the amazing volunteers from BNY Mellon who gave their time and energy to support the day.
Behind the scenes, Chris from Pear Hospitality made sure everything ran like clockwork, thank you for your continued support!
