Ladies’ Lunch at Delamere Manor Raises Nearly £20,000 for The Joshua Tree

A Ladies’ Lunch held at Delamere Manor has raised £19,847.42 for The Joshua Tree, a charity that supports families affected by childhood cancers.

A total of 136 guests attended the event, which included a three-course meal, live entertainment, raffle, a brilliant auction and a disco in the manor’s nightclub. Guests were welcomed with live saxophone music, and the event concluded with attendees on the dancefloor. It was a ladies lunch to remember!

Event organiser, Amy Wilkinson said: “It was a fabulous turnout for the charity event, and we raised a great amount for families. Everyone looked as glamorous as ever.”

During the evening, beneficiary mum, Toni Hall, shared her family’s experience after her daughter Holly, aged 4, was diagnosed with cancer. Toni’s story highlighted the importance of The Joshua Tree’s support services and why fundraisers like the Ladies Lunch are so important.

A standout moment of the evening was the auction of a Nick Knowles cardboard cut-out, which drew significant attention from guests. The item was accompanied by a personal video message from Nick Knowles himself, adding a memorable touch and making it one of the highlights of the night.
