The Story of The Joshua Tree
Supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of families affected by childhood cancers.
The Joshua Tree recently featured on DIY SOS for Children in Need, a transformative project that doubled the size of our main Support Centre in Cheshire thanks for the incredible volunteers donating their time and resources.
This expansion means we can reach even more families affected by childhood cancers and with new self-contained accommodation suites allowing those living further away to stay, access essential services, and find the support they need.
The Joshua Tree is a non-profit charity. We rely on donations, fundraising, and grants to run. With the recent growth, now more than ever, we need your support.
At The Joshua Tree, we exist to make sure every family affected by childhood cancer gets the support they need, for as long as they need it.
Our services include:
Families can contact us at any stage, immediately after diagnosis or even years later. You can make a self referral here.
The Joshua Tree is not a crisis service.
Following the incredible expansion of our Support Centre we expect the number of families we support to double in the next year.
However, as referrals grow, so too do our running costs. That’s where your support makes all the difference.
We rely on the generosity of individuals, fundraisers, and corporate partners to continue delivering our essential emotional, practical, and wellbeing services, all free of charge to families affected by childhood cancers.
Explore the many ways you can support the charity, whether through a one off donation, fundraising, or corporate partnership.
The expanded centre, combined with the growing awareness of the charity, could see the number of families we support double in the coming year,
